Is the money really in the list?

Your Red Pill Journey

Myth #3 – the bigger the list, the more money you’d make.

So far we broke two big myths that are stopping most people from making it online –

  • Thinking they need to have a strong offer
  • Thinking they need to have a ton of money

Now, let’s bust another common myth – the list.

Almost everything we hear says the money is in the list. That is your primary goal. In other words, you must do whatever it takes to grow it, like –

  • Buying a list
  • Being an affiliate to others
  • Bartering with other lists
  • Offering freebees
  • Running ads

And when you have a list then “here’s the right way to squeeze money out of it”

  • Email daily
  • No, email weekly
  • Automate it
  • Personalize it
  • Add artificial intelligence
  • Segment it
  • Send it first thing in the morning
  • No, send it at night
  • Rather, during lunch time
  • Always make an offer
  • Add images
  • Add videos
  • Focus on open rate
  • No, focus on click rates
  • No, focus on replies..

The reality is very different from what these gurus are trying to make you believe.

Consider this –

Most email providers charge you by the numbers. This means you could be forking out a ton of dough every single month just to have people collecting cyber dust and never taking action.

We’re all very different. Some people read their emails during lunch break, some actually enjoy lunch break away from their devices. There’s no “one size fits all” like they make you believe.

Freebie seekers are unlikely to convert into buyers, but they can easily increase your email hosting costs and reduce your engagement rates, causing email deliverability issues.

It’s not because you lack some secret skill attained only through this new shiny object. (Remember what we established: you’re already an expert.)

You can be one of the best copywriters in the world and make your clients Billions of dollars and still have an unresponsive list that won’t buy from you.

Heck, you can be the one who invented the Video Sales Letter (VSL) and still be ignored.

Not because your list doesn’t trust YOU.

But because they don’t trust THEMSELVES.

See, there’s a special kind of trust that leads to sales… And it’s more difficult to build if all you’re doing is following the traditional marketing tactics.

When you do it right, you can accelerate trust and turn a bad list into $250,000 in just 10 days.

Without –

  • Affiliates
  • Funnels
  • Webinars
  • Ads
  • Social media.

Take it from an 8 figure copywriter and the inventor of the VSL – Jon Benson:

I didn’t go into this thinking that we do as well as we did because my list has been hit with this offer countless times… so that’s not a good list.

…so do quarter-million off of 7,000 people …pretty amazing.

~Jon Benson. The creator of the VSL, Sellerator, Email Copy Pro and Inbox Branding.

And like I showed you before, it’s the fastest way to accelerate trust and turn browsers into buyers:

Even when you have a small but high quality list you can find yourself with $100,000 and a happy sales team that is so jazzed up and excited to get on the phones.

We had the biggest weekend. We had $100,000 a week – pretty awesome!

“This is so much fun, I can do this every day!”

~Vanessa Simpkins, Confidence & Cash Flow Mentor.

So in the current climate of mistrust, scams and overwhelm…

Where everyone is competing for your prospects’ attention and just throwing as much money as they can to put their content before yours…

In a world where algorithms control who sees what… and you’re at a daily risk of losing access to your social accounts…

You can win faster by focusing on the one thing that makes you truly stand out: building the type of trust that turns browsers into (long term) buyers.

Even if you have a big, unresponsive list… even if you have a small list…

Size doesn’t matter!

What matters is your relationships with the people around you.

And there’s a proven system that my clients (like Jon, Vanessa, Magie, Terry and many others) have followed that turned even a completely dead list into 5 and 6 figures in a short amount of time.

Yesterday I asked you to reply back if you want me to prepare a workshop for you to practice it in real time.

The response has been incredible so I may set one up next week… but if I do, I want to make sure I cover everything I can in the workshop…

What questions do you want me to cover for you in the workshop?

Till tomorrow.
